Level 3 – A pattern suitable for adventurous beginners

Description:

A ladies dress and top pattern with lots of options. The dress has princess seams, with pockets in the side panels and optional frills. The frills come in a wide and a narrow width. The dress can be made with a button through front or a zip at the back. There are two sleeve styles a full volume 3/4 sleeve or a slim 3/4 sleeve.

The top version features a shaped shirt hemline dipped at the back. The top can be made with or without the frills and with either sleeve option.

Suitable fabrics:

The Lewis dress and top can be made in crisp cotton fabrics such as lawn, poplin, chambray and broadcloth. It also works well in double gauze and more drapey fabrics like lyocell and viscose.
