Dressmaking for beginners course

Level 2

A course for those who would like to learn to make their own clothes. Bring fabric and a pattern and over 6 weeks work through all the processes to completing your item.

Work at your own level, the course is tailored to you.

In this class some key skills you will learn:

  • Reading a pattern,
  • Cutting out
  • Garment construction
  • Garment finishing
  • Pattern amendments

£120 includes calico if necessary for your project. You will need to bring a pattern and fabric.

Wednesday evenings 7.30pm-10pm Countesthorpe
