A sewing social with a sustainable theme.
This event is about opening up a conversation about sustainable sewing particularly focused on clothing. Sharing ideas and discussing the topic.
Bring along a slow sew project whether it be hand sewing, unpicking, mending, embroidery, knitting or crochet.
Fuelled with coffee, tea and cake in a very small group we will chat sustainable sewing.
Mending and re purposing clothes are great ways to be sustainable and reduce waste.
Bring along fabrics from your stash that you have fallen out of love with. There might be opportunity to swap for something you do love.
Bring a few items from your wardrobe that you don’t wear. Lets discover why and what you could do to make them wearable.
