This fabric is made from 95% Bamboo. On the whole bamboo is considered a more Eco- friendly alternative to many fibres because bamboo absorbs carbon dioxide and releases over 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere compared to an equivalent mass of trees. Bamboo requires no chemicals, pesticides or fertiliser to grow. It’s a renewable resource. After being harvested, it continues to grow new shoots from its root system. There are many other great properties associated with bamboo including being bio-degradable, this fabric is blended with cotton which is also bio-degradable.
Details and suitable uses:
This fabric is silky smooth with a heaviness to its handle. It would be lovely for layering t-shirt like the Angie top.
The drape is beautiful, it would also be lovely for cowl neck styles and drapey dress and top styles.
